Fast, Guided Checkout at the Terminal
- From the terminal home screen/main menu, tap Sale.
- Enter the sale amount and tap Done/Confirm.
- When prompted, have the customer tap (NFC), insert (chip), or swipe their card/device.
- If prompted, the customer enters PIN (or completes any on-screen verification such as signature, if required by the transaction).
- Wait for Approved (authorization).
- Print the receipt (and/or follow your app’s receipt options).
Simple Refund Processing
- From the terminal home screen/menu, tap Refund.
- Enter the refund amount and tap Done (some apps note you don’t need to type a decimal point).
- If your setup requires it, enter the refund password/passcode (refunds may be permission-controlled).
- When prompted, ask the cardholder to tap, insert, or swipe the card/device used (or follow your app’s allowed method).
- Confirm the terminal shows Approved.
- Print or select/send receipts based on your receipt settings.
Void Same-Day Payments Before Settlement
- From the terminal home screen/menu, tap Void.
- Select the transaction to cancel from the list/history.
- Tap VOID and enter the void password (if prompted).
- If prompted, have the customer insert the card and complete PIN/signature steps as required.
- Wait for Approved, then print the void receipt.
